Liquid Gas Europe is the European voice of the liquid gas industry in Brussels. We represent the liquid gas sector at European level and count among our members companies from across the industry, ranging from liquid gas producers, distributors, national associations and equipment and services providers. We advocate for a safe and stable regulatory environment to ensure a just energy transition for all.
1. Have a voice in Brussels
EU legislation has never been more influential – climate change, air pollution, energy and security of supply are among the policy areas that have a direct impact on the liquid gas industry. Liquid Gas Europe members are kept up to date with the latest regulatory developments, and can contribute to the industry official positions through dedicated working groups. Our members are supported by our public affairs team, which engages on a regular basis with key policy- and decision-makers.
2. Shape standards that work for the industry
Liquid Gas Europe and its members work with authorities in Brussels and Geneva to ensure all technical and safety regulations are both workable and fit for purpose. We take active part in CEN Committee meetings, where we contribute to the development of balanced standards for the European liquid gas industry. Our Safety and Standardisation coordination group is one of the drivers behind the formulation of European standards.

We also create reports, brochures and infographics, which our members can then leverage in their promotional materials and communication work. Lastly, all members of Liquid Gas Europe benefit from a free-of-charge annual European Statistical Report.
